Aramashi/About Us
Who We Are, What We Do
The members of the Daisan Shoutai consist of living historians,
whose aim is to portray the professional and highly-trained
infantryman of the Imperial Japanese Army as seen in the China
Incident and the Second World War. We recreate history by
attending public displays and battle reenactments, as well as
immersing ourselves in private tactical battles.
Our Interests
Current members as well as those interested in joining are history
fanatics. Every member has a strong interest in the history of World
War II, military reenacting, uniforms, field equipment, weaponry, and
specifically have the desire to learn more about the Japanese army.
Highlights
This group is first class and bad ass! Only the best can be part of the
Daisan Shoutai. Each member will not only eventually obtain a superb kit,
but gain knowledge and enlightenment in many fields of military study to
include but not limited to: weaponry, field craft, dress and appearance,
customs and courtesies, etc. Of course members love to meet new people
and create lasting friendships. The group is always seeking new and
interesting people, who they themselves are genuinely interested in the
topic and having fun in the process. We shun farby in-accuracies, poor
health, and politics. We love research, camaraderie, and drinking!
